  • “ On my way to grab some cash at the nearby Scotia Bank, I was compelled to wander into Dufferin County's only Swiss Chalet – abandoning my original plans to grab something faster, cheaper...and, possibly, deep-fried. As the host walked me to a table, they said Jas [Jazz] would be looking after me. I was not disappointed. Jasmine, as I later learned was their (assumed) given name, proved the epitome of what a server can aspire to be: Prompt, professional, approachable, attentive, and thorough. They checked to see how I was enjoying my meal, some 2 or 3 times, before I paid the bill. They took my rather dry British humour in stride. When "Insane In the Membrane" started playing, we both agreed it to be a most-excellent song. Jas' epic effervescence emanated from them, effortlessly – greatly enhancing my overall dining experience. The food (quarter dark chicken, fries, Chalet sauce) was wizard, as always. My Shirley Temple (standard when eating at Swiss) was the cherry on top. This was yet another brilliant visit to easily one of the best Swiss Chalet's in the province. It won't be long until I return. ”

  • “ Donna is an excellent server. My Mom comes in weekly, specifically requests Donna's section and she is always taken very well care of. Donna always gives very good recommendations, remembers our orders and is pleasant and polite. The food has been exceptional with every visit. The food comes out very fast and our order has never once been made incorrectly. The rotating specials give us something new to try with every visit but the old standbys always satisfy reliably as well. The establishment has plentiful parking and direct access for people with disabilities. Comfortable, private booths in a relaxing atmosphere. We will be continued patrons. Thank you for the ever wonderful experience to Donna and the rest of the crew! ”

Jasmine was our server, she was so lovely and attentive… kept refilling our drinks, didn’t miss a detail in our order, and made sure to check in on us during dinner. I am also in the service industry, and will vouch that since covid, a lot of service has lacked and it’s been a challenge to find staff. I have not had service like this in such a long time. I’m addition; our food was incredible and very large portions!! Very very happy :) ”
